New Thinking on Cooperative Development - DTI and ILO Seminar Series on Cooperatives

Over the past six months the Department of Trade and Industry and the International Labour Organisation hosted a seminar series on cooperatives. This seminar series covered various themes such as food security, informal trading, worker cooperatives, cooperative banking, cooperative entrepeneurship and the role of cooperatives in education. This seminar series aimed to create a space for knowleged generation, learning from practice and experience and promoting new policy ideas about cooperative development. COPAC faciliated these seminars. The seminar monographs including the papers and main discussion points are loaded on to this website under Other Publications and are freely downloadable.
